I was born and raised in Eugene from March, 1976. I moved to Springfield in 2003.
I enjoy helping others. I know my way around computers, and building websites, though learning more over the past few years after entering into various Gig Services since September, 2018 in trying to spread my wings into private delivery.
Through these various Gig Services, I have learned more about, not only Eugene and Springfield, but also of other cities in Oregon, Washington and California, as well as when I traveledº across the United States of America (May – June 2025).
Like a lot of the drivers, I have learned a lot, but not everything about various quirks of these Gig Services. Most importantly, no matter which one used, they all have their pros and cons that change on a rapid basis, daily.
July 14, 2004, I became a Born Again Child of God. Over the past 21 years, God has guided my home church membership, multiple times; currently settled in at Mt Olive MBC, Salem OR.
When it comes to scheduling requests, this is why Sundays will typically be unavailable. Though depending on the request, I may be able to make accommodation, but with at least a few days notice.
ºBefore I left on my travel (work-cation) in May, I picked up a portable CB Radio, and a small antenna to mount for listening in. I was able to pick up a bit of random conversations on a few channels, but it wasn’t until arriving at a Pilot in Oklahoma, and I then spotted the CB Radio shop across the street, that my listening range truly expanded.
I proceeded to make the investment for a bigger antenna, and can now listen to conversations from as far South as the Bayou in Louisiana.
Channel 6 is where I listen most while I’m out and about on other deliveries, so that is why I chose to pick it as the main channel, listed on the top of the website.
Upon returning home in June, I eventually made payment for a Uniden 510XL unit that has also helped in getting better chatter over multiple channels.
